bethany bARTon’s art is an examination of honesty. Of humanity (from concentrate).

Her art is born out of a genuine fascination with people. All of them. Even you.
She is inspired by the ways we express, define, find and lose ourselves. She is moved by the things that remind us we're human (for better or for worse).

“I want to say what everyone is thinking. I want to show how completely unique and original we are-- and yet as just-plain-human as the person next to us” Her art captures the dreams, thoughts and feelings that we share -- equal parts whimsy and reality -- and attempts to process those things with humor and honesty. She calls it "the honesty revolution"-- and invites you to be a fellow revolutionary.

Blame it on the Irish Catholic upbringing. Or the traveling. Or the Theatre & Religious Studies schooling. Or the alcoholic folks. Or maybe even the freckles.

Either way Bethany’s art has been featured in numerous films and television commercials, as well as in gallery shows and installments all over California. Newly married, she lives and works (making art and painting sets) in Los Angeles, CA.
